## **Huai Kha Khaeng Wittayakhom School: Inspiring Minds Through Montessori Education**
Established in 1988, the Huai Kha Khaeng Wittayakhom School, previously known as Khao Kwang Witthaya School, has an illustrious history of empowering students in Uthai Thani Province. Initially serving 187 students as the "Halfway School", it was positioned between Ban Huai Pla School and Huai Kha Khaeng Village. With strong community roots, the school catered to four significant village groups.
In 1991, with the collaboration of the Royal Forest Department and the National Primary Education Commission, the school transitioned to a permanent location, boasting a two-floor building with ten classrooms at Moo 10, Tambon Rabam. The move was orchestrated on January 9, 1992, under the guidance of the devoted Mr. Bancha Pianthanyakon, who later became the school's acting principal.
Three years later, in 1995, the school declared its independence and was renamed "Khao Khwang Witthaya School". Mr. Thawat (Jinnawat) Kombua was the first official principal, leading an initial team of three teachers catering to students from kindergarten to grade 6.
Expanding its horizons, by 1997, the school offered lower secondary education. This initiative was helmed by Mr. Songsak Wongthanyakon, who succeeded Mr. Jinnawat Kombua. Subsequent years saw leadership from Mr. Manas Preeprem, who continued the school's growth trajectory from 2006 to 2016.
Marking another evolution in its journey, in October 2008, the school's name was officially changed to "Huai Kha Khaeng Wittayakhom School" by the resolution of the Basic Education Board.
Currently, the school thrives under the leadership of Ms. Mayuree Narang, an experienced educator with a Master's degree in Educational Administration. Since taking her position on November 3, 2016, Ms. Narang has been a beacon of commitment and inspiration.
Of special note, Huai Kha Khaeng Wittayakhom School takes pride in offering Montessori Education for children aged 3-6 years in the K1-K3 levels. This unique approach fosters independence, respect, and a genuine love for learning in students.
