As parents, they have always been deeply committed to providing their children with the transformative power of Montessori education. It has been the foundation of their learning journey since their early years, shaping them into confident and creative learners. They were incredibly fortunate to have a partner in life who shares the same passion and has supported her in opening our very own Montessori school here on Koh Samui. Becoming an AMI-trained Montessori teacher has been a dream come true, and they were excited to extend the Montessori legacy.

Their two older boys, at that time approaching the ages of 3 and 5, have experienced the wonders of Montessori education from their early toddler years. While their setup may not have been perfect, they firmly believe that they have laid a solid foundation for their future endeavors. Their Montessori journey has nurtured their innate creativity and prepared them for a lifetime of learning.

As they embark on this new chapter, they have decided to provide their children with a unique experience by sending them to a Montessori school in the USA. It was a bittersweet farewell as they bid goodbye to their beloved Samui Montessori School. They ensured that its legacy would continue by selling their cherished materials and furniture, which has found a new home in South Africa where their dedicated teacher will open her own school. They are overjoyed that their beloved school will live on, serving children around the world.

During their stay on Samui until April 2016, they had taken on the role of homeschooling their boys, alongside caring for their youngest bundle of joy. They eagerly looked forward to engaging in playgroups and inviting like-minded parents to join us in a co-op style of homeschooling. Additionally, they plan to explore the Montessori scene in the USA, giving their boys a taste of life on the other side of the Earth.

## On their last BLOG they wrote:
My husband and I have been passionate about Montessori education being the first and only pedagogy we immerse our children into (for as long as we can keep it up:) ). I have been so lucky to have a husband who stands by me and who made it possible for me to open my own school here on Koh Samui and to become an AMI-trained Montessori teacher.
Our two older boys, now about to turn 3 and 5, have been receiving Montessori education from the toddler community from 1 year old. Although it hasn’t been the perfect setup here only because the class size in the Primary class was smaller than usual, I feel that they have a good base for the future. I am excited to see what they will learn in the future and know that they are all ready very creative learners:)
We decided the last year that we would like to give our children some time in the USA and send them to a Montessori school there. December 4th, 2015 was our last day of school here in Samui.
We sold all our lovely shelves and materials and packed everything up to be sent in a 40-foot container to South Africa, where our teacher from this year will open her own school. We are so thrilled that our beloved school will stay intact and become a new school for someone we know and love. Samui Montessori will incarnate to continue to serve children around the world in the years to come.
Our family will be staying on Samui until April 2016 and in the meantime, I will be homeschooling my 3 and 5-year-old boys while caring for a 6-month-old baby. We are pleased to continue with playgroups and hope that some other parents will join us in the home-school in a co-op style when possible. We plan to go to the states to see what the Montessori scene is like there and to give the boys a taste of life on the other side of the Earth.
