## **Montessori Association of Thailand (MAT)**
Greetings from the heart of Thailand!
We are introducing the Montessori Association of Thailand, an embodiment of a revolutionary educational movement spearheaded by passionate individuals, such as Kannekar Butt and the committed team of Australian Thai Montessori Supporters (ATM's). In partnership with the Montessori Australia Foundation (MAF), we are fervently dedicated to broadening the reach and impact of Montessori education throughout Thailand.
Since 2010, we have made significant strides in promoting Montessori principles in early education. By focusing on AMI training, notably Assistants to Infancy, we are building a strong foundation of educators equipped to support the holistic development of our young learners. Our dedication extends to providing mentorship for the 3-6 age courses and fostering the growth of the 6-12 plans.
Our efforts have spanned across the country, touching over 200 schools and making an impression on thousands of visitors from both governmental and private sectors. We aim to inspire more people to understand and embrace the Montessori method in their respective educational environments.
But, our mission doesn't stop at the Thai borders. Members of the ATM team have attended EsF gatherings in Italy and Spain and have lent their support to AMI's EsF work in other countries. Our reach is global, and our aspirations are high.

We are now actively seeking support and contributions from global Educateurs Sans Frontieres, GO and NGO bodies in Thailand, and our Australian partners to consolidate the future continuing growth of Montessori Education in Thailand.
